Michelle joined the firm as a summer student in 2005 and articled with the firm in 2006. Before law school, Michelle was the Child Labour Campaign Coordinator for the International Trade Union Confederation where she worked with trade union organizations, businesses and governments to end child labour in the their communities. Prior to that, Michelle spent several years as an organizer and conducting educational outreach in the labour movement, including with the Ontario Federation of Labour and the Canada Labour Congress.

Michelle is currently a member of the Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association. She is also on the steering committee of the Law Society of Upper Canada Equity Advisory Group, and board member with several community organizations.
