Genevieve is a member of the litigation practice group at Cavalluzzo. She joined the firm in 2015 after articling with a full-service firm, where she gained experience in civil, criminal and commercial litigation. Prior to her articles, Genevieve summered at a leading national firm in its London, UK office.
Genevieve maintains a varied litigation practice, focusing on employment law, civil litigation and class actions. She represents employees in all industries and sectors, including the financial services, health, technology, and entertainment industries, as well as those employed in the public service. She also assists unions with litigation before courts.
Prior to law school, Genevieve completed an internship at the International Centre for Transition Justice, in Cape Town, South Africa, where she completed in-depth research and analysis in the areas of truth-seeking and reparations.
Genevieve is a mentor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law's Internationally Trained Lawyers Program. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates' Society and the Women's Law Association of Ontario.
