Genevieve is an associate in the litigation practice group at Cavalluzzo. She maintains a varied civil litigation practice, focusing on employment litigation and class actions. She has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario.
Prior to joining Cavalluzzo in 2015, Genevieve summered at a leading national firm in its London, UK office and completed her articles with a full-service firm in Peterborough, Ontario.
In her articling year, Genevieve gained significant trial experience and worked closely on a high-profile case concerning elections spending.
While at law school, Genevieve was a student caseworker at the Golden Lane Legal Clinic and an active member of the Canadian-American Law Society, where she acted as Peer Mentor Coordinator in her final year.
Prior to law school, Genevieve completed an internship at the International Centre for Transition Justice, in Cape Town, South Africa, where she completed in-depth research and analysis in the areas of truth-seeking and reparations.
Genevieve is a mentor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law's Internationally Trained Lawyers Program. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates' Society and the Women's Law Association of Ontario.
