Blair practices in the civil and criminal litigation groups with a focus on employment, criminal, professional regulation and public administrative law.

Prior to Cavalluzzo Hayes, Blair was an associate at a large national firm practising in the areas of commercial litigation, securities litigation, class actions, professional discipline, and public administrative law.  

Blair also has significant experience in criminal and regulatory matters and worked for several small criminal defence firms, the Ontario Securities Commission and the Scarborough Crown Attorney’s Office. In addition, he has extensive experience working on commissions of inquiry and assisted in the representation of parties at the Walkerton Water Inquiry, the Cornwall Public Inquiry and assisted the commissioner, the Hon. Patrick J. LeSage at the James Driscoll Inquiry.

During law school Blair was a senior editor of the Ottawa Law Review and clerked with the Senior Regional Justice of the Provincial Court in Ottawa.

Blair has appeared before all levels of courts in the province including the Ontario Provincial Court and the Superior Court of Justice.
