Mary Cornish Appointed to the Order of Canada

On June 30, 2016 it was announced that Mary Cornish has been appointed to the Order of Canada.

The Order of Canada is the cornerstone of the Canadian Honours System and one of country’s highest civilian honours. It was established in 1967, during Canada's centennial year, to recognize a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to community and service to the nation, which has enriched the lives of others and made a difference to this country.

Mary is being honoured for her leadership in advancing pay equity and for her long-standing commitment to social justice.

All the members of the firm send their congratulations to Mary for this honour earned over many years of tireless devotion to advancing equality and justice. We are proud of you and proud to work with you.

Mary is the second member of our firm to be awarded the Order of Canada, joining Paul Cavalluzzo who received the honour in 2014.
