On a daily basis, the world's women are denied one of the most basic human rights –the right to nondiscriminatory work and income. If women obtain paid work, they are segregated in job ghettos with inferior conditions, denied access to higher paying male work and paid much less than men for their work. Women migrants are exploited and trafficking in the labor of women and girls is increasing.
