Bio

Brendan is a partner at Cavalluzzo. Previously, Brendan was an articling student at the firm in 2010-2011 and then an associate until the end of 2018. He practices labour law, construction labour law, and workers’ compensation law. He has extensive experience advocating before labour arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.

Brendan received his B.A. (Honours) in philosophy from Queen's University, and his J.D. from the University of Toronto. In law school, Brendan was active in the Advocates for Injured Workers legal aid clinic and, as a Donner Public Interest Fellow, worked with the Ontario Federation of Labour to prepare an extensive report on occupational health and safety-based reprisals.

Brendan has a long-established commitment to social justice activism and workers' rights. He brings that commitment to all areas of his practice.

Brendan is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Industrial Accident Victims Group of Ontario.
