In a ground-breaking decision, the Federal Court has certified the employment insurance (EI) Moms on Maternity class action.  A copy of the decision can be found here.

This case has obtained national recognition for the class plaintiff, Jennifer McCrea of Calgary who, along with Stephen Moreau, counsel to Ms McCrea and the class members, has been profiled on CTV News (May 10, 2015), on CBC's The National, the Toronto Star and on Global News.  Some of this media coverage can be accessed below:
