Tyler joined Cavalluzzo as an associate in 2017 after summering and articling with the firm. He practices primarily in the areas of Labour Law, Health Law, Charter/Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and Professional Regulation/Discipline.

Tyler is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. While in law school, Tyler co-authored a joint submission to the Ontario "Changing Workplaces Review" arguing against the increased trend towards privatization in the home care sector and advancing an alternative sectoral bargaining regime. Tyler was also recognized by a respected national legal journal for coursework he completed on standard form construction agreements.

As a law student, Tyler served as a Division Leader and Caseworker in the Family and Criminal Law Divisions of Downtown Legal Services, a pro bono legal clinic, and was the Coordinator of the "Wills Project" run by Pro Bono Students Canada.

Prior to law school, Tyler volunteered and worked with a major public sector union, and was an active participant in the Hamilton and greater area labour community.
