Jim Robbins Speaks at the 2015 Health and Safety and Workplace Safety and Insurance Conference

Jim Robbins is speaking at the 2015 Health and Safety and Workplace Safety and Insurance Conference.  He will be speaking on a panel entitled:  "Handle with Care:  A Step-by-Step  Guide to Work Refusals".  This panel will discuss the roles and responsibilities of employees, employers, unions, and health and safety inspectors when a work refusal occurs, addressing such issues as understanding who can refuse work, avoiding reprisals, following proper investigatory procedures and assessing "danger" and the legitimacy of refusals.
