Securing the Health and Safety of Vulnerable Workers: A Focus on Women Workers and Workers with Disabilities in the Supply Chain

The protection of workers against sickness, disease and injury arising out of employment is one of the fundamental objectives of the ILO and part of world’s commitment for decent work for all. Such protection is particularly important in developing countries where the health, well being and even survival of families depends on the health of working members of that family.
