With the increasing social and economic impact of globalization and trade agreements, there is growing public concern about the protection and enforcement of labour and human rights standards. The legal systems for protecting labour and human rights have been fundamentally challenged by the forces of globalization which seek to move large volumes of goods, services, information and capital across international borders with low friction and high velocity.
