David joined Cavalluzzo in 2025 after summering and articling with the firm. He practices in the areas of employment law and litigation, labour law, constitutional law, and Aboriginal law and Indigenous rights.
David received his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2024. While at U of T, David co-led a public legal education and research group at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, completed a strategic litigation externship with the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights, and worked as an editor for the Journal of Law and Equality. He also completed a semester abroad at King’s College in London, where he studied international human rights law and obtained a certificate in transnational legal studies.
David was inspired to pursue a career in law after working for a legal charity in his hometown of Charlottetown, PE. In this role, David provided clients with free plain-language legal information and helped clients access affordable legal services. In his current practice, David remains committed to promoting access to justice and advancing the rights of working people through thoughtful and strategic advocacy.
Prior to law school, David also received a Master of Arts in English Literature from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Prince Edward Island.
