Ryan White was recently quoted in a CBC article highlighting shortfalls of the new law that was aimed to protect Ontario gig workers. Ryan says that “This is legislation that allows the provincial government to say — 'Look, we're actually doing something about the problem' — without actually taking adequate steps to ensure that gig workers are protected."
