Bio

Ramisha is dedicated to high-quality advocacy through effective storytelling. As an associate at Cavalluzzo LLP, she practices in the areas of administrative, constitutional, employment, and national security law, as well as Aboriginal and Indigenous rights. She is committed to using a justice-focused and compassionate lens in all areas.

Ramisha joined Cavalluzzo in 2025 after spending two years at a leading litigation boutique in British Columbia, where she developed a broad litigation practice and appeared in all levels of court. Previously, she also worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honourable Henry S. Brown of the Federal Court of Canada.

Ramisha received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law. During law school, she volunteered as a litigator at Community Legal Aid and Legal Assistance of Windsor, competed and ranked globally in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, and sat on the Executive Board of the Windsor Review of Legal & Social Issues. Ramisha was also selected for a legal fellowship at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

Ramisha currently sits on the executive for the Canadian Bar Association’s Admin Law section in BC and is an active member of the Canadian Muslim Lawyers’ Association. 

Before pursuing a career in law, Ramisha worked as a journalist for several national news agencies after receiving a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University.
